Where My Journey Began
My story began in the warm, bustling south of China, where every street echoed with the hum of sewing machines and the scent of new fabric. In the 80s and 90s, my family ran a small clothing factory, and I spent many evenings helping my parents finish orders under the soft factory lights. From those nights, I learned that every stitch carries love, care, and a little bit of magic — a lesson that continues to shape Little Wonderland today.
The Beauty of Cotton and Bamboo Cotton
China is one of the world’s largest producers of cotton, supplying nearly 90% of global demand. Growing up surrounded by this industry, cotton became a part of everyday life for me — a symbol of softness, comfort, and care. In China, cotton is the most common and beloved material for clothing, especially for baby products. Cotton-rich fabrics are valued for their gentle, breathable, and soothing touch — a quality that often feels softer and more comforting than many retail products found in Australia.
Today, modern technology has introduced bamboo-cotton blends, a new generation of fabric that combines the natural purity of cotton with the silky smoothness and antibacterial properties of bamboo fibre. Many of our high-quality baby products at Little Wonderland are made from these advanced materials, offering an even softer, more breathable, and eco-friendly experience for babies and families alike.
From Motherhood to Little Wonderland
As a mother of two boys, I spent countless hours caring for my babies and searching for products that felt as comforting as they were beautiful. I longed for baby blankets that carried a touch of story — patterns inspired by fairytales, garden dreams, and gentle warmth. Yet, I often found it difficult to find blankets that truly captured that magic while offering the soft, natural touch I desired. Now that my boys are in high school, I finally have the time and passion to build Little Wonderland — a place where quality, softness, and storytelling come together. My goal is to bring mums and babies products that feel tender to the touch and delightful to the eyes — pieces made to be cherished, shared, and remembered.
